Blood donation festival 'Red drops of love' attracts more than 1 thousand participants

The blood donation festival 'Red Drops of Love' organized by the Hai Phong City Labor Federation attracted more than 1,000 union members and workers to register to donate blood.

On the morning of December 6, at the Vietnam-Czech Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the City Labor Federation organized the blood donation festival "Red Drops of Love", within the framework of the first Job Festival in 2025.

More than 1,000 union members and workers registered to donate blood.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, comrade Nguyen Van Phiet, Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation, said that over many years of organization, the voluntary blood donation movement of all levels of the Hai Phong City Labor Union has attracted the participation of a large number of cadres, union members, and workers, affirming the sense of responsibility, benevolent heart, and noble gesture of each collective and individual.

The “Red Drops of Love” festival attracted more than 1,000 union members and workers to register to donate blood, actively contributing to ensuring blood supply for emergency and treatment work at medical facilities in the city.

Representatives of the City Labor Federation encouraged workers to participate in blood donation.

Since the beginning of the year, the City Labor Federation has done a good job of promoting voluntary blood donation among all levels of the city's labor unions; organized 15 blood donation campaigns with the participation of nearly 5,000 registered people, resulting in the collection of more than 4,000 units of blood.
