On the afternoon of November 1, at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, Hanoi ), the "Not Alone" Online Safety Festival officially opened, gathering hundreds of students, artists, international organizations and management agencies to join hands to build a safe and humane cyberspace for children and teenagers.
The event is part of the "Not Alone" Campaign initiated by the Digital Trust Alliance, under the auspices of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Health, the People's Committee of Hanoi and many agencies, organizations, technology enterprises and civil society.
In his opening speech, Major General Le Xuan Minh, Director of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05 - Ministry of Public Security) emphasized: “No individual or agency can face this challenge alone. We need the cooperation of the whole society - from families, schools, technology enterprises to international organizations and the community.”

According to statistics from the Ministry of Public Security, since the beginning of 2025, more than 50 cases of “online kidnapping” have been detected and handled, of which 100% of the victims are aged 18-22, 90% are female. This number is considered a strong warning about the complexity of child abuse in the online environment, posing an urgent need for coordinated action and collective commitment.
Taking place over two days, November 1-2, the “Not Alone” Online Safety Festival offers a rich series of activities, combining education , technology and art, helping participants “touch” the message of online safety in a close and intuitive way.
At the multi-sensory digital exhibition space, visitors can experience an impressive interactive system of light, sound and technology, with models, games and technology simulating common online risk identification situations. In addition, the digital technology experience area helps raise awareness, skills and tools to protect children and adolescents in cyberspace in a creative and approachable way.

Not only a technology experience, the Festival is also a place for students to express their creativity through music, dance and digital content revolving around the theme "Not Alone" through the school talent minishow taking place on the evening of November 1.
The music gala “Not Alone” taking place on the evening of November 2 will gather famous artists such as Den, Mono, tlinh, Low G, Quang Hung MasterD, Lam Bao Ngoc, Ha Myo, Quang Dang..., conveying the message of connection and spreading positive energy about trust and safety in the digital world.
In less than a month of implementation, the “Not Alone” campaign has attracted the response of more than 2,000 schools nationwide, reaching more than 500 million views on the internet. The media content, creative challenges and the theme song “Clicking” have spread naturally, becoming positive points of contact in the community.
“From small actions today, whether it is a positive share or a timely warning, we are contributing to building a safe wall for millions of Vietnamese children,” Major General Le Xuan Minh shared.
The “Not Alone” campaign and Online Safety Day are practical activities, contributing to the implementation of the Hanoi Convention on Cybercrime, affirming Vietnam's pioneering role in global efforts to protect children in the online environment.

The event not only raises awareness but also creates a large social movement, where every individual, organization, business and community joins hands to build a safe and humane cyberspace, where every child is protected and never alone./.
