Comrade Le Minh Hung, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Organization Department, on behalf of the Presidium, presented the Report of the 13th Central Committee of the Party on personnel work for the 14th Central Committee of the Party.
The Congress discussed and voted to approve the number of members of the 14th Central Committee of the Party as 200 comrades, including 180 full members and 20 alternate members.
Delegates attending the Congress worked in research groups, discussing the Report on personnel work of the 14th Central Committee of the Party; nominating candidates, making nominations, and studying personnel documents and files.
The Presidium listened to reports from the heads of delegations on the results of discussions by the delegations regarding the Report on personnel work of the 14th Central Committee of the Party; the candidacy, nomination, and cases of withdrawal from the list of candidates and nominees for the 14th Central Committee of the Party.
The Presidium reports to the Congress and votes to approve the list of candidates for the 14th Central Committee of the Party; elects the Vote Counting Committee; and the Vote Counting Committee guides the election process.
The Congress proceeded with recording votes, casting ballots, announcing the results, and approving the list of comrades elected to the 14th Central Committee of the Party.
Today, January 23, 2026 , in the morning, delegates to the Congress will have a break, and the 14th Central Committee of the Party will hold its first meeting; in the afternoon, the Congress will hold its closing session.
