
VPI's gasoline price forecast model shows that in the operating period on November 13, retail gasoline prices will be stable or may only decrease slightly by 0.2 - 0.3% compared to the previous operating period, if the Ministry of Finance and Industry and Trade do not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund.
According to Mr. Doan Tien Quyet, data analyst of VPI, VPI's gasoline price forecasting model predicts that the retail price of E5 RON 92 gasoline will be stable or may only decrease slightly by 0.3% to 19,660 VND/liter, while RON 95-III gasoline is forecasted to only decrease slightly by 0.2% to 20,386 VND/liter.
Fuel oil prices may continue to decrease by VND315 (2.1%) to VND14,005/kg, while kerosene and diesel prices may increase by 2.2 - 2.3% to VND19,417/liter and VND19,487/liter, respectively.
VPI also forecasts that the Ministry of Finance and Industry and Trade will continue not to set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund this period.
