Attending were leaders of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Bac Giang and the Department of Tourism of Nghe An.
The signing of the Agreement on tourism cooperation and development for the period 2023 - 2030 aims to exploit and promote the potential and strengths of the two provinces of Bac Giang and Nghe An; build and affirm a brand that attracts tourists; create a unified tourism space for mutual development; increase competitiveness in the context of globalization and international integration.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed to regularly update, exchange and share information on tourism activities between the two localities, including: planning, long-term and annual plans, tourism products, markets, trends, tourist needs, local tourism stimulus policies as well as negative phenomena and violations in tourism activities.
The two sides also agreed on a plan to coordinate the survey and development of unique, outstanding, complementary tourism products, linked with regional linkage products to promote the exchange of visitors between the two localities. In particular, priority will be given to the following tourism products: cultural, historical and spiritual tourism; beach resort tourism; agricultural and rural eco-tourism; MICE and Golf tourism; and culinary tourism.
Nghe An and Bac Giang will coordinate to support the promotion of tourism products, programs, activities, and annual events on the media of the two departments; deploy smart tourism applications in tourism promotion, bilateral electronic marketing promotion strategies, etc.
