During the process of restructuring and perfecting the apparatus, the province has closely directed the implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction to take place continuously and without interruption.

The transfer of tasks and projects from the district level to the provincial level has been carried out closely, with specific instructions. Thanks to that, the activities of 7 poverty reduction projects in the area have continued to be maintained stably.

However, Nghe An province leaders also frankly admitted that the progress of disbursing capital from the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction is still slow. Some officials in charge are new to the program and are still confused in implementation. In addition, consecutive natural disasters from storms Wipha, Kajiki to Bualoi have caused flash floods and severe flooding in mountainous areas, affecting poverty reduction results.

Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, assessed that the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction has brought about clear results, people's lives have been gradually improved, especially in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, contributing to the socio -economic development of the province.

In the coming time, the People's Committee of Nghe An province will direct the Departments and branches to review the projects, thereby proposing projects that are suitable to the actual situation, suitable to the planning of the communes, avoiding fragmented and scattered investments. Focus on accelerating the disbursement of capital in 2025. Effectively integrate resources between the National Target Programs. Arrange qualified and competent staff to implement the program in localities.
