Beautiful gesture at the humanitarian tournament 'Continuing life with children'

The internal pickleball tournament "Continue your life with your children" season 4 for the PASSION002 Cup was organized by Thanh Nien Newspaper, with Mr. Tony Hoang and Ms. Tram Ngo - co-founders of the PASSION002 brand as the main sponsors, and actor Huy Khanh as a co-organizer. The tournament attracted a large number of athletes, including many artists such as Chi Bao, Minh Hang, Binh Minh, Luong Gia Huy, MC Ly Chanh, Long Dep Trai...

What is extremely meaningful is that at the event, Thanh Nien Newspaper represented the philanthropists to hand over 250 million VND to the orphans; and the businesses directly handed over 150 million VND right on the field. A total of 400 million VND was handed over to 40 orphans under the program "Continuing Life with Children" (each child received 10 million VND).

The family members who accompanied the children were very touched when receiving meaningful gifts from the program. Bringing her 4-year-old grandchild to the event, Mrs. Mai Thi Dung (living in Thoi An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) choked up: "My mother passed away 4 years ago, when I just gave birth to my child, at that time the city was under social distancing due to Covid-19. My husband and I struggled to raise him. This 10 million VND is a lot of money for me, I saved it to buy milk, rice, and pay for his school fees...".

This humanitarian meaning is also the reason that motivates philanthropists and organizations to join hands with Thanh Nien Newspaper to organize the "Continue Life with Children" pickleball tournament for the past 4 seasons. And in each season, the amount of money given directly to orphans has increased. As a companion of the tournament since the first season, actor Huy Khanh confided: "This is a 100% non-profit tournament. The support of organizations and philanthropists is all spent directly on orphans or directly on logistics that are transparent in advance. That is the reason why I always trust and accompany Thanh Nien Newspaper and the artists and athletes to organize the tournament."

Meanwhile, Tony Hoang has arranged his work and returned to Vietnam with his relatives from the US to join hands in preparing for the best organization of the tournament. He was invited to participate in the tournament from season 3. Because the program is very meaningful, especially helping orphans due to Covid-19, he decided to become the main sponsor for this season 4. He affirmed that sports have gone beyond the meaning of training for health, but also connect people together, with love, sharing, and the spirit of overcoming oneself.

The tournament attracted a large number of athletes competing in 5 categories. In the end, in the artist category, Thai Chi Hung - Thanh Dat won; second place went to MC Ly Chanh - Thien Vu; and third place went to Chi Bao - Huy Khanh and Tran Nghia - Le Anh.

In the 50+ category, the champion was Minh Tan - Van Hoan; second place was Tony Hoang - Bo Duong; and third place was Phan Hung - Duc Huu and Son Trang - Quan TTA. In the 6.0 category, Ha Vu Quang - Dien Patek won; Xuan Van - Chi Thong won second; and third place was Phu Tran - Quoc Minh and Phi Hoa - Mr. Tu. In the 5.0 category, Ly Duoc - Minh Phap won; second place was Son GP - Quan Q.6; third place was Nhan Truong - Nam Tran and Tri Cang Long - Tuan Viet Pho. In the newbie category, Khanh Hong - Cong Hoat won; second place was Thu Hang - Phuong Vo; third place was singer Minh Hang - actress Loi Tran and Cam Tien - Thanh Tin.

Winning prizes or not, for athletes, is not as important as conquering themselves and contributing to multiplying good things from a charity tournament.
