Accordingly, the Department of Health requires heads of medical facilities to be responsible for, direct, and discipline relevant departments, divisions, and individuals to maintain stable medical examination and treatment activities. Ensure 24/7 patient reception hours. Units must ensure adequate medicines, medical supplies, and on-duty personnel to perform medical examination and treatment, especially at the grassroots level (commune and ward health stations).
Medical facilities need to arrange medical staff to guide and explain to people about changes (if any) related to medical examination and treatment procedures due to changes in administrative boundaries; ensure service style and attitude towards patient satisfaction.
“The Department of Health requires medical facilities to not allow negative incidents or cause trouble for people. It is strictly forbidden for medical staff to cause difficulties in receiving and processing medical procedures due to local mergers. In case of detecting acts of causing difficulties or profiteering, it is required to strictly handle them according to the law. At the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision at units; regional medical centers strengthen inspection and supervision of the activities of commune and ward health stations under their management,” Mr. Phan Thanh Hai emphasized.
