On October 13, 2016, the Scientific Council of the Central Party Agencies conducted a ministerial-level acceptance review of the scientific research project: "Strengthening the leadership, direction, inspection, and supervision of the inspection committee over the activities of inspection teams," chaired by Master Nguyen Van Nhan, Member of the Central Inspection Committee. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Van Phuc, Standing Vice Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Central Party Agencies, chaired the acceptance review council. In recent times, the inspection and supervision work of the Inspection Committees at all levels has achieved many important results, contributing to consolidating and building a cleaner and stronger Party. However, in reality, some Inspection Committees have not paid sufficient attention to leading, directing, inspecting, and supervising the activities of inspection teams. This has led to some inspection teams at various levels violating regulations on confidentiality, losing documents, disclosing information, etc., and even being accused or reported by the inspected or supervised entities, resulting in biased and inaccurate inspection and supervision results, affecting the reputation of the Inspection Committees. Therefore, researching the topic: "Strengthening the leadership, direction, inspection, and supervision of inspection committees over the activities of inspection teams" is necessary, contributing to improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of leadership, direction, inspection, and supervision of inspection committees over the activities of inspection teams; preventing and deterring violations by inspection teams; Ensuring that inspection and supervision work is carried out in accordance with the Party's direction, principles, and guidelines. The research focused on clarifying scientific and theoretical concepts regarding leadership and guidance in inspection and supervision; presenting the current state of inspection team activities and the leadership and guidance of the Inspection Committee over these activities; and proposing directions and key solutions to strengthen the leadership and guidance of the Inspection Committee over the activities of inspection teams. Therefore, researching the topic: "Strengthening the leadership, direction, inspection, and supervision of the Disciplinary Inspection Committees over the activities of inspection teams" is necessary, contributing to improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the leadership, direction, inspection, and supervision of the Disciplinary Inspection Committees over the activities of inspection teams; Preventing and deterring violations by inspection teams; ensuring that inspection and supervision work is carried out in accordance with the Party's guidelines, principles, and guidelines.
