Leveraging the strengths of agriculture and aquaculture.

In 2025, Ngu Lac commune will effectively implement the agricultural restructuring plan, leveraging the local potential and strengths while promoting innovation, applying science and technology to production, increasing income, and improving household economics .

The main crop of the locality is rice, with a harvest yield of 24,955 tons in 2025. With determination and resolve, in 2025, the commune aims to achieve and surpass 17 out of 19 targets set in the resolution (the two targets not yet achieved are: developing new Party members and the percentage of people participating in health insurance).

Comrade Le Vu Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ngu Lac commune, said: In 2025, the commune's growth rate will reach 13.34%, and the economic structure will shift in the right direction. In particular, chili peppers have brought high economic efficiency thanks to the sudden price increase and the extended harvesting period. At one point, the price reached 140,000 VND/kg, and currently, the price is maintained at around 65,000 VND/kg, making farmers very happy.

Aquaculture in the commune has developed quite strongly in terms of area and production of freshwater prawns, creating significant income for local people. In 2026, the commune will continue to encourage people to change the structure of crops and livestock towards increasing value. The Fatherland Front Committee and local organizations will implement diverse forms of support and assistance to help people develop their family economies and contribute to the development of the locality.

This is a driving force contributing to the development of the Dinh An Economic Zone, significantly improving the lives of people in Ngu Lac and neighboring localities.

Orienting the future development of Ngu Lac commune, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Van Lau emphasized: In the era of integration and development, Ngu Lac commune needs practical solutions to improve and widely disseminate patriotic emulation movements. In particular, emphasis will be placed on investing in the development of the Ngũ Lạc Industrial Park, attracting high-quality human resources, creating jobs and stable income for the people, and contributing to sustainable development in the future.
