The National Highway 14 section is repaired from Km962+200 to Km963+600, in Binh Phuoc ward, Dong Nai province. Currently, the investor is allocating tens of billions of VND, mobilizing workers and machinery to construct about 1.4 km of damaged road. According to the construction unit, the use of recycling technology to reuse available materials helps reduce costs while still ensuring quality, in the context of scarce material sources. The roadbed is treated by increasing cement to improve adhesion and increase the life of the road surface.
However, many people living along National Highway 14 are still concerned about the effectiveness and durability of this method, when observing the process of mixing recycled materials with soil, rock and cement right at the site. People expect the road to be constructed properly, with long-term sustainability, avoiding the situation of "patching first - breaking later" as has happened before. It is very necessary for investors to urgently repair the arterial road, helping to ensure the safety of people and vehicles participating in traffic. However, along with progress, the quality of the project is also what people want to be concerned about first so that each project is not only a road, but also a belief in the effectiveness of public investment and the responsibility of the implementing unit.
