The VNeID application has just had its latest update, version 2.2.4, adding 7 new utilities. Notably, people can submit their red book online to the State agency, instead of submitting a photocopy as in the past.
Steps to submit red book on VNeID application are as follows:
First, people need to use level 2 identification to log in to the latest version of the VNeID application. Then select "Providing information to state agencies" in the search section.

Here, the application clearly states that this information is provided to serve the verification, inspection, comparison and data processing of competent State agencies.

Next, select "Create new", then select the information as "Land use rights certificate".

The declarant information section will be pre-integrated, including full name and personal identification number of the VNeID account owner.

In case of household registration, it is necessary to enter the name of the person whose name is on the red book and the reason for household registration. Required information related to the red book includes the certificate number and the land plot address on the red book.
With the information file, people upload images and documents about the red book that need to be submitted in PDF, PNG, JPG format.

Once the steps are completed, the person confirms the accuracy of the information and submits the request. All information will be sent to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment .
Submitting red books online is part of a 90-day campaign to review and clean up the entire land database deployed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Public Security and People's Committees of provinces and cities from September 1 to November 30.
Around the end of October, the Department of Land Management (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) said that this unit is coordinating with the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06 - Ministry of Public Security) to build a utility on the VNeID application to help people submit photocopies of red books in the next few days, serving the program of "cleaning land data".
