Man gets back 2.5 billion VND due to mistaken bank transfer.

After mistakenly transferring 2.5 billion VND to someone else, a citizen received assistance from the police to recover the entire amount.

Mr. Diep Nhu Lai received back the sum of 2.5 billion VND in the presence of the police of Bao Lam 3 commune, Lam Dong province.

On the morning of January 14th, the police in Bao Lam 3 commune (Lam Dong province) announced that they had assisted residents in recovering 2.5 billion VND that had been mistakenly transferred to another person's account.

According to initial information, on the morning of January 7th, Mr. Diep Nhu Lai (born in 1963, residing in Hamlet 6A, Bao Lam 3 Commune) conducted a bank transaction transferring money from his personal account to another account under the name "Hoang Van Ha," opened at VietinBank . He later discovered that he had transferred the money to the wrong recipient.

Unable to contact the recipient, he went to the Bao Lam 3 Commune Police Station to report the incident and request assistance. The Bao Lam 3 Commune Police quickly verified the information and coordinated with relevant units to identify the account holder, confirming that Mr. Hoang Van Ha was the account holder at VietinBank, Tuyen Quang Branch.

The police directly contacted and explained the legal regulations, and Mr. Hoang Van Ha proactively returned the entire 2.5 billion VND to Mr. Diep Nhu Lai in the presence of the Bao Lam 3 Commune Police.
