Due to the deep water level in the lake, up to about 30m in some places, and the complex terrain of the lake bed, with many nooks and crannies and strong currents, rescue work encountered many difficulties.
Before that, at around 8:00 p.m. on October 15, while eating and drinking beer at a raft house (made of bamboo) of Mr. LXT's family (born in 1984, in Hon Giang area, Lua village, Yen Nhan commune), Mr. LVN (born in 1985) went outside to go to the toilet and did not return. A while later, friends went to look for him but could not find him, suspecting that Mr. N. had fallen into the lake and gone missing.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Yen Nhan commune authorities coordinated with the Fire Police and Rescue Police of Thanh Hoa province to urgently mobilize forces and vehicles to the scene to search for the victim. However, to date, Mr. N's whereabouts have not been discovered.
There is currently no evidence to confirm whether Mr. N. fell into the lake or not. Yen Nhan Commune Police have issued a notice to search for a missing person with the following identifying characteristics: male, round face, black skin, about 1.55m tall, wearing black cropped jeans, black polo shirt.
Authorities are continuing to expand the search area on Cua Dat Lake, and are coordinating with local residents to collect more information to assist in search and rescue operations.
