People of village 1A, Ea Drong commune enjoy the National Great Unity Day

On the afternoon of November 14, the Front Working Committee of Village 1A (Ea Drong Commune) organized the National Great Unity Day 2025.

Attending and sharing the joy with the people of village 1A were Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Ba Canh and leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ea Drong commune.

Village 1A has 317 households with 1,774 people and 4 ethnic groups living together, including: Tay, Nung, Kinh and Ede. Over the past year, party members and all people in the village have always had absolute trust in the Party and the State, high solidarity, no signs of ethnic or religious discrimination, or factional division; political security has been ensured, people feel secure in working and producing.

The social situation and people's lives are increasingly stable, gradually developing and improving; the average income of each year is higher than the previous year. In particular, people have actively applied scientific and technical advances, transformed the structure of high-quality, high-yielding crops and livestock, developed multiple business and service sectors, etc., contributing to reducing the rate of poor and near-poor households to 40 households.

Currently, 90% of the village's internal roads have been asphalted or concreted; all school-age children go to school. Primary health care for the people is always guaranteed.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Le Ba Canh and leaders of Ea Drong commune presented gifts to poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances.

Social security work continues to receive attention. During the year, the village received 26 breeding cows for 13 poor and near-poor households under the poverty reduction program; mobilized villagers to support the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with an amount of more than 17 million VND. The work of preserving, promoting and maintaining the culture of ethnic minorities received attention...

At the festival, cadres, party members and people of village 1A reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front over the past 95 years; at the same time, cultural and artistic exchanges aimed at strengthening the great national unity bloc.

On this occasion, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded funding to support the construction of two Great Unity houses for poor and near-poor households (VND 80 million/house) and presented gifts to 10 poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in the commune. The Village Front Work Committee also called on people to respond to the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas" in 2025.
