More than 7 tons of goods and necessities from people in Tan Thanh, Nhon Ninh, Nhon Hoa Lap, Hau Thanh, Kien Tuong communes and Dong Thap province were sent to our compatriots in the Central region.
Following news about the situation in disaster-stricken areas that is constantly updated on mass media and social networking platforms, Ms. Do Thi Hong Thu (residing in Tan Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province) and many friends mobilized philanthropists to support necessities and other necessary items such as blankets and clothes to send to people in the flooded areas of Phu Yen (formerly, now Dak Lak).
After 3 days of calling, Ms. Thu's group received more than 7 tons of goods and necessities from people in Tan Thanh, Nhon Ninh, Nhon Hoa Lap, Hau Thanh communes, Kien Tuong commune and people in Dong Thap province.

Ms. Hong Thu shared: “Watching the news about the storm and flood, I felt sorry for the people in the flooded areas. The group mobilized goods and connected with the Long-distance Friends group to transport goods to the people of Phu Yen (old). I hope everyone will try to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives to continue to develop in the future. I am also very grateful for the generosity of the benefactors.”

Everyone worked very enthusiastically, hoping the goods would quickly reach people in flood-affected areas.
Also with a heart towards the flood area of Dak Lak , Ms. Trinh Thi Giau (residing in Nhon Ninh commune, Tay Ninh) , a Buddhist of Thien Quang pagoda, and a charity group mobilized gifts from benefactors to send to Dak Lak with Ms. Hong Thu's group.
Ms. Trinh Thi Giau shared: “Even though I am old and do not use Facebook or social networks, I still know from the news on TV that the storm and flood in the Central region has caused a lot of damage and the people are suffering. My volunteer group mobilizes benefactors to help the people in the flood areas, even though it is not much, everyone helps with whatever they have, but it is all from the heart to send to our compatriots who are facing difficulties.”
Along with the Militia and Self-Defense Forces of the Commune Military Command, there are also many volunteer groups participating in flood relief. In Tan An Ward (Tay Ninh Province), we must mention the volunteer group Long-distance Friends Tan An - Long An.
In recent times, the group has carried out many charitable activities such as transporting relief goods to flood-affected areas or transporting clean water to drought-affected areas. The group does not mind the difficulties and finds every way to bring relief goods to areas isolated by floodwaters. Just like that, hundreds of "zero-dong" vehicles continuously roll, changing drivers throughout the night so that necessities can reach people as soon as possible.
This time, with the connection from Ms. Hong Thu's group, the Tan An - Long An Long Distance Friends group was present in Tan Thanh commune to bring relief goods to the people of Dak Lak.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Khuong - Head of the Tan An - Long An Long Distance Friends Group, shared: "The group arrived in Tan Thanh to transport relief goods to the main gathering point, and will start heading to Phu Yen on the afternoon of November 27. Currently, there are 17 registered vehicles with more than 100 tons of goods ready to be sent to Phu Yen."

The charity trips not only carry goods but are also full of love from the people of Tay Ninh province to their compatriots in the flood-hit areas.
The charity trucks carrying goods and full of love from the people of Tan Thanh commune as well as other localities of Tay Ninh province are continuing to roll. With the joint efforts of the whole country, we hope that the people in the flood-affected areas will soon overcome the loss and restore their lives and production./.
