Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh reiterated the spirit of high determination, resolutely declaring war, and taking drastic and methodical actions to combat IUU fishing in order to remove the "Yellow Card" from the European Commission.

On the evening of November 11, 2025, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the 21st meeting of the National Steering Committee on combating illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh reiterated the spirit of high determination, resolutely declaring war, taking drastic and methodical actions against IUU fishing to remove the "Yellow Card" of the European Commission (EC); proposed unification of norms and standards..., and at the same time prepared accurate reports on areas of interest to the EC.
