On the afternoon of November 13 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VTV9) and Vietnam Cable Television Corporation (VTVcab) officially announced a cooperation agreement to exploit broadcasting copyrights for European men's football tournaments, including Serie A (Italy), Ligue 1 (France), UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League starting from November 2025.

With this agreement, VTV9 becomes the only national television channel (free-to-air) in Vietnam today with the copyright to broadcast top European football tournaments.

This is an important cooperation that helps audiences nationwide have the opportunity to access prestigious tournaments easily, conveniently and completely free of charge on national television.

Mr. Tu Luong - Director of VTV9 said that this cooperation has many special meanings, expanding the opportunity to access European football to a large audience, especially in areas that do not have the conditions to use VTVcab pay TV.

The first match will be broadcast live on VTV9 at 9:00 p.m. on November 22, 2025 between Udinese and Bologna (Round 12 of Serie A).

Viewers can watch all matches on VTVcab sports channels (ON Football, ON Sports, ON Sports News, ON Sport+, ON Golf) and VTVprime application.
