The trade union's survey indicated that November 24th was chosen as a paid day off.

The Politburo clearly stated that the development of culture and human resources is the foundation, an important endogenous resource, a great driving force, a pillar, and a regulating system for the rapid and sustainable development of the country. Investing in culture is investing in the sustainable development of the country, in the future of the nation...

Immediately afterwards, the Vietnam Trade Union conducted a survey to gather feedback on the feelings and impressions of its members and workers regarding this policy.

In the survey, the Vietnam Trade Union stated that this is good news, demonstrating the Party and State's concern for the spiritual life of the people, including workers, to enhance their ability to enjoy culture, to encourage artists to be creative, and for the whole society to uphold and practice a cultured and civilized lifestyle.

According to a survey of over 84,000 people, approximately 94.5% expressed great joy and strong agreement with the resolution's decision to designate November 24th as "Vietnamese Culture Day," a day when workers are entitled to a paid day off. The remaining workers also expressed their support for this new holiday.

According to the leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, this is a very good opportunity to organize cultural and sports activities, bring workers to historical and cultural sites in the area, or spend time with family members to share and honor Vietnamese family cultural values.
