At that time, the whole Thien Nhan village had a total of 112 households with 448 people, including 26 poor households and 30 near-poor households. After receiving the assignment, the first thing he did was to gather and strengthen the great solidarity among the people, at the same time, create close and close ties with the people.

In addition, the village chief also visited poor and near-poor households to learn about each situation. After understanding the cause, he met with the village executive committee to discuss and give the right direction, suitable to the actual conditions of each family. In particular, village chief Nguyen Xuan Hung also actively propagated and helped people grasp the policies, especially the loan policy.

Thanks to that, I had the opportunity to learn about support policies for the poor and start approaching them. Currently, Mr. Vu's family is raising buffalo, cows, chickens, a herd of 8 goats, 30 pairs of pigeons... In addition, he has also invested in machinery and opened a mechanical workshop to increase income and serve the needs of local people.

Thanks to the guidance of the village chief, many households have grasped loan policies to develop the economy and stabilize their lives.

To help people develop the economy, Village Chief Nguyen Xuan Hung also directly "held hands and guided them". Accordingly, he proactively learned production experiences from other villages in the area, researched and studied through the media to choose a suitable economic model. Thereby, many economic development policies and guidelines were strongly responded by households in the village, people actively implemented model conversion, applied science and technology to production, made the most of ineffective farming land to grow crops and raise livestock effectively to bring stable income.

Mr. Hung shared: "I myself come from a farming family, so I understand the difficulties and hardships of the people. When I first took office as village chief 10 years ago, the poverty rate in the village was still high, the natural conditions were unfavorable, and the people's educational level was still limited. Therefore, when I was trusted by the people, I always wondered how to help people find a way to escape poverty and improve their lives."

The development of garden economy has been implemented by many households in Thien Nhan 1 village and has shown clear effectiveness.

The efforts of Village Chief Nguyen Xuan Hung have been rewarded when each year, the village reduces 2-3 poor and near-poor households. Up to now, after 10 years of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hung being the village chief, the entire Thien Nhan 1 village has only 2 poor households (over 90 years old) and 3 near-poor households. Thanks to the change in production thinking, the lives of the villagers have been constantly improved, many households have escaped poverty and gradually become rich. In addition to livestock farming, currently, about 80% of the households in the village grow lemons, of which the largest household harvests 30 tons a year, with a revenue of 600 million VND.

The contribution of village chief Nguyen Xuan Hung contributes to building Son Tien commune to become more and more prosperous.
