These days, Mr. Nhi's small house is busier than usual as neighbors come to congratulate him on receiving the prestigious 40-year Party Membership Badge. For him, this high honor is not only a source of personal pride but also a milestone in his many years of dedication and contribution to his homeland and its people. Born during a time when his hometown faced many difficulties, Mr. Nhi understood the hardships of the local people early on. In 1986, he joined the Party. During his career, he held many positions in the locality, such as Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Thanh Hung Commune (1997 - 2011); Chairman of the Elderly Association of the commune (2011 - 2017). Regardless of his position, he always remained close to the people and actively participated in local movements.

After retiring, Mr. Nhi continued to be trusted and elected by the villagers as a respected figure in Thanh Tan hamlet. For him, retirement from work did not mean ceasing to care for the community. The people here are familiar with the image of the elderly man driving around the hamlet to mobilize people to contribute to road repairs, maintain environmental hygiene, or participate in social welfare activities. He always finds ways to help families in need. These seemingly simple actions contribute to strengthening the bonds of community and neighborly love.
For many years, the story of Mr. Nhi's support for Mr. Nguyen Van Viet and his son, who live in the same hamlet, has touched many hearts. Facing difficult family circumstances, Mr. Viet, raising his son alone, works as a laborer every day to make ends meet. Every morning, he takes his son to school before rushing off to work. Understanding his hardships, Mr. Nhi regularly picks up Mr. Viet's son at lunchtime, prepares meals, and cares for him like a member of his own family. This assistance has given Mr. Viet's son the opportunity to continue his education and pursue his dream of going to school. Mr. Viet emotionally shared: "Thanks to Mr. Nhi's help and care for my son's schooling, I can work with peace of mind. During difficult times, he always helps and encourages my son and me to persevere. I am very grateful to him!"
Besides actively carrying out social welfare work, Mr. Nhi also regularly studies new legal documents to disseminate and encourage people to comply with them. He is attentive to reminding young people to strictly abide by traffic safety regulations, say no to drugs and social vices. Whenever young people ride motorcycles without helmets, speed, or overtake recklessly, he gently reminds them, analyzing the potential risks to help them raise their awareness when participating in traffic. "Mr. Nhi is very close to the people, especially the young people in the hamlet. He reminds young people not to violate traffic safety laws and not to fall into social vices. The people really like and respect him," said Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, a resident of Thanh Tan hamlet.
Thanks to Mr. Nhi's dedicated efforts in disseminating information and mobilizing support, the awareness of law compliance among the people, especially the youth, in the area has been steadily improving. Security and order in Thanh Tan hamlet have been largely maintained, social vices have been gradually reduced, and community bonds have become stronger and more united. Mr. Le Ut Hau, Head of Thanh Tan hamlet, commented: “Mr. Nhi is an exemplary Party member, enthusiastic about the common work of the hamlet. Even after retirement, he still actively promotes and encourages people to comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws. His actions contribute to maintaining security and order and building unity in the locality.”
For this 40-year-old Party member, the greatest joy is seeing his homeland change for the better, and the lives of the people becoming more prosperous and compassionate.
