Vietjet people turn to the beloved North

Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên13/09/2024

Sharing the difficulties and losses of the people in the Northern flood-hit areas, the entire Vietjet system immediately joined hands to donate in the spirit of 'mutual love and support'.

On the morning of September 11, all leaders, officers, Vietnamese employees and foreign friends of Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company participated in donating to support people suffering from storms and floods.

The fundraiser took place in an emotional atmosphere, where everyone felt the pain and hardship that people in the affected areas were going through.

Vietjet organizes for employees to contribute in 2 forms: contribute directly at the donation event, or scan the QR code to transfer money via Vikki digital bank with a simple and convenient interface.

Each contribution is a beat of Vietjet's heart, conveying the hope that the people of the North will soon overcome the storm and flood.

On the first day alone, Vietjet raised hundreds of millions of VND, demonstrating the wholeheartedness and sincere concern from each individual in the Vietjet family.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Quyen, a Vietjet staff member, emotionally shared: "In the past few days, the media has been flooded with painful images from the North, images that have kept me awake. It is heartbreaking to see our people struggling to cope with the floods. I hope our contributions will somehow ease the pain and bring comfort to our people." In addition to the donation activities, Vietjet has also decided to waive the transportation fee for relief goods from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to people in flood-hit areas from now until September 20. To register and reserve a transportation seat, please contact Vietjet via phone number 0941423632 or email: [email protected].

Community activities, volunteering, and contributing to society are always part of Vietjet's sustainable development goals on the journey to spread patriotism and the best values to the community.

In addition, from now until September 30, Vietjet will deduct 5,000 VND from each air ticket, with an estimated total amount of up to 5 billion VND, to support people to restore their lives after the storm and flood. In the immediate future, the airline has deducted 2 billion VND to buy food, clean water, medicine and other necessities to promptly provide to help people overcome difficulties and repair damage.
