Nguyen Van Chung, Phuong My Chi… receive good news, 'Red Rain' wins big again.

The WeChoice Awards 2025 took place on the evening of February 7th, honoring many inspiring figures of the past year: musician Nguyen Van Chung, singer Phuong My Chi, footballer Dinh Bac, Ms. Vang Thi Thong… Meanwhile, 'Red Rain' became the Film of the Year.

With the message "Continuing the Vietnamese Story ," the WeChoice Awards 2025 gala, held on the evening of February 7th in Ho Chi Minh City, became a gathering place for acts of kindness, where each individual stepped into the spotlight to write their own unique chapter in the nation's journey of progress. The awards continued to honor inspiring individuals and stories; events, products, and activities that had a positive impact on the community over the past year. The awards season received immense love and support from the community with over 1 million nominations and more than 18.2 million votes – a testament to the powerful spread of positive values.

Five inspiring ambassadors were officially honored at the WeChoice Awards 2025, based on the evaluation of the judging panel. They are: the fetal cardiac catheterization team from Children's Hospital 1 and Tu Du Hospital for their internationally acclaimed medical feat; teacher Dinh Thi Kim Phan for her 16-year journey of teaching literacy to child cancer patients; the Red Rain film crew for their epic peace story told through cinema; Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy for his unwavering dedication to community safety against natural disasters; and Coach Mai Duc Chung – the devoted mentor who has led Vietnamese women's football to world-class status.

Ten inspiring figures, chosen by the community, create a multifaceted picture of resilience, dedication, and positive impact on the public regarding the nation's noble values. These include Ms. Vàng Thị Thông, Đình Bắc – a player from the Vietnam U23 national team, singer Đức Phúc, musician Nguyễn Văn Chung, singer Phương Mỹ Chi, teacher Đinh Thị Kim Phấn, coach Mai Đức Chung, the fetal intervention cardiac catheterization team from Children's Hospital 1 and Từ Dũ Hospital, artist Ngô Phong (Phong Punk), and the Vietnam Women's Mobile Legends team.

The awards ceremony for the "Projects for My Vietnam" category included an announcement by the Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Le Quoc Minh, that the "Homeland in My Heart" campaign would return this year, causing the entire audience to erupt in cheers.

The "Projects for Vietnam" category honors community-oriented projects and campaigns from organizations and units that have made significant contributions to the economic , social, cultural, and people-centered development of the country. Notable recipients include: the "Not Alone" campaign initiated by the Digital Trust Alliance, the "Homeland in My Heart" political commentary art program of the Nhan Dan newspaper, and the "Proud of Vietnam" campaign initiated by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union . Meanwhile, the "Haha Family" program, "Vietnamese Family Home ," the Saigon pedestrian bridge project, "Viet Nam Love ," and the UpRace community running project were awarded the Inspiring CSR Project award.
