Designer Thanh Huong Bui aims to "establish a unique fashion style in Vietnam."

With her recently launched "Equinox" collection , designer Thanh Huong Bui has created a buzz by leveraging her core values and her desire to firmly establish herself as a unique fashion icon in Vietnam.

Designer Thanh Huong Bui stated that “Equinox” (Golden Transition) recreates a powerful transitional moment, ushering in a brilliant era of flourishing. Choosing a dominant orange tone combined with brown and red hues, each design in the collection symbolizes confidence, elegant beauty, and a spirit ready to break through and shine.

“Equinox is not just a collection, but a way for me to assert my identity: not chasing trends, not blending into the crowd, but remaining steadfast on my own creative path,” Thanh Huong Bui shared.

Inspired by the Equinox – the moment when day and night are in balance – Thanh Huong Bui creates designs based on seemingly contradictory opposing spirits: softness and strength, femininity and power, tradition and contemporary.

The designs are not ostentatious in their technical execution but skillfully restrained, with clearly structured silhouettes that still maintain fluidity. The materials move with the body, creating a feeling of freedom and spontaneity. The color palette is subtly chosen to evoke emotion without overwhelming the eye. With "Equinox," Thanh Huong Bui doesn't seek to overwhelm but chooses the more challenging path: touching emotions through depth.

In the show, The Face Vietnam 2024 winner Huynh Tu Anh, in her opening role, subtly introduced the "Equinox" story , guiding the audience's emotions from the very beginning. Notably, the show also featured 33 models and Miss World Vietnam 2025 contestants participating in the performance, fully conveying the spirit of the collection. The emotional climax came from the performance of the two vedettes, supermodels Vo Hoang Yen and Hoang Thuy, walking together on the runway.

With their charisma and synchronized strides, the two leading models created a memorable runway moment, clearly reflecting the designer's artistic vision: two powerful personalities, two distinct identities, yet united by the spirit of "Equinox" —balance, dialogue, and parallelism. One embodies powerful, sophisticated beauty; the other represents calmness and inner strength. Appearing together, they complement each other, creating a harmonious whole.

In that moment, "Equinox" was remembered not just as a beautiful collection, because the models didn't simply "wear" the designs; they became part of the story that Thanh Huong Bui wanted to tell.
