This is a practical activity demonstrating social responsibility, accompanying localities in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, ensuring the right to education of students throughout the province.

Storm No. 11 in October 2025 caused severe damage in many districts of Thai Nguyen . A number of educational facilities were flooded, many classrooms, equipment and especially textbooks for students were completely damaged. Many families in mountainous communes and disadvantaged areas were already poor, and after the storm, they were even more deprived, unable to buy new books for their children to go to school. In that situation, timely supplement of textbooks and teaching and learning materials is considered an urgent need for children to return to normal study.

Grasping the actual situation, Vietnam Education Publishing House quickly deployed an emergency support program, mobilizing resources to transport new textbooks to Thai Nguyen.

In Thai Nguyen, the Vietnam Education Publishing House donated nearly 35,000 textbooks for all grades from primary to high school, with a total value of over 500 million VND. These books were distributed to students whose books were damaged, families in difficult circumstances and schools that suffered heavy damage due to the storm.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Member of the Board of Members of the Publishing House of Education Vietnam emphasized: "The Publishing House of Education Vietnam is always deeply aware of its responsibility to education and the community. We hope that these books will not only help students stabilize their studies soon but also bring encouragement and strength to help them overcome difficulties. Natural disasters only temporarily interrupt their studies, but cannot obscure their dreams of studying and their desire to excel. We hope that students will always maintain their spirit, be good and study well so that in the future they will become useful citizens, contributing to the development of their homeland Thai Nguyen".

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thai Nguyen province sincerely thanked the timely support of the Vietnam Education Publishing House. The representative of the Department said that due to the impact of the storm, thousands of students in the whole province lost their books, many schools faced difficulties and suffered great damage to facilities.
