Barcelona have moved to the top of La Liga 2025/26 as key players Raphinha and Pedri return from injury.

In midweek, Hansi Flick's Barca had their most impressive performance of the season, beating Atletico Madrid 3-1.

After the 3-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League group stage, coach Hansi Flick sent a positive message. He declared the improvement from what he saw in the players.

That was more or less evident in the second half of the 3-1 win over Alaves, with a more stable version of Barca.

After the Alaves match, Flick sat on the technical bench to ponder many issues, with the image of Raphinha coming to encourage and commit to the team's development.

Against Atletico, although the defense still left many gaps for the opponent to exploit, Barca showed the image of a dynamic team that won 3 titles last season - La Liga, Spanish Super Cup and King's Cup.

It was Barca pressing high and direct in front of goal. They had the energy of Raphinha, the precision of Pedri, and the improvisation of Lamine Yamal.

The return of Raphinha and Pedri helped Yamal play more comfortably. He continuously made sprints on the right wing, then often entered the center to create breakthroughs.

Raphinha and Lamine Yamal are considered the best attacking wing duo in Europe. Flick expects them to maintain their top form when they travel to Sevilla to play Real Betis.

Home team Betis is in good form recently, aiming for the race to the top 4 of La Liga.

If Yamal brings beauty to Barca, Antony is the soul of Betis with his technical and spontaneous moves.

Since arriving in La Liga earlier this year, Antony has been involved in 23 goals in all competitions – including 15 direct strikes and eight assists – making him one of the top six performers.

Isco's injury makes Antony's role even more important. The Brazilian is an indispensable factor in coach Manuel Pellegrini's tactics.

Barca's somewhat loose defense promises to create space for Antony, even though Betis has a lower chance of winning.
