Many convoys from Can Tho City set out to support flood victims in the Central region.

(CTO) - On the evening of November 25, at No. 3A, Song Hau, Cai Khe Ward, a convoy of vehicles carrying over 150 tons of goods (food, necessities, medicine...) to support flood victims in the Central region departed. The convoy consisted of 3 containers, nearly 10 large trucks and 3 pickup trucks, coordinated by Nhut Doan Motorcycle Shop with organizations and individuals to mobilize donations from near and far benefactors. Hundreds of students, youth, volunteers from universities, colleges, units... in the city contributed to transporting and arranging goods over the past few days. Businesses and benefactors also supported trucks, drivers, gasoline, funding... for this trip.

The convoy departed from No. 3A, Song Hau, Cai Khe ward on the evening of November 25.

* On the same evening, at 34 Phan Dinh Phung, O Mon ward, a truck carrying 16 tons of goods, food, necessities, etc. also departed to reach the flood victims in Phu Yen (old), now Dak Lak province. This truck was jointly organized by Mr. Truong Dinh Tuan and Mr. Hoang Nhac Cung Nghi, who mobilized donations from near and far.

* Previously, the Can Tho City Traffic Rescue Team organized a convoy of trucks carrying 10 tons of goods on the evening of November 21. The group gave more than 2,000 gifts to people affected by floods in communes of Dak Lak province.

* Currently, in Can Tho, many organizations and individuals continue to mobilize and donate funds and goods to support the people of the Central region affected by floods.
