Many exciting activities at the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival

On the afternoon of November 13, at the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province provided information on the activities of the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival in 2025.

According to Mr. Le Van Su, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival has the theme "Ca Mau Crab: Forest scent - Sea taste".

The event took place from November 16 to November 22 in some communes and wards in the center of An Xuyen ward; Tan Thanh ward; Ly Van Lam ward; Bac Lieu ward; Hiep Thanh ward, Ca Mau province.

Accordingly, the Ca Mau Crab Festival includes activities such as: Opening Ceremony with art performance program; organizing exhibition space, crab industry trade exhibition; startup products, innovation and OCOP products with a scale of 312 booths.

The event also has a culinary space about Ca Mau crab; organizing the processing and promotion of dishes from Ca Mau crab. Accordingly, the Organizing Committee invites units and individuals to participate in processing and promoting nightly dishes made from Ca Mau crab combined with specialties of 34 provinces and cities across the country; at the same time, arranging 20 culinary booths to process and sell delicious dishes from crab and Ca Mau specialties.

In addition, the Crab Festival also has special events such as the "Record Setting" contest on Ca Mau Crab; the CamaUP'25 event series - Ca Mau Province Startup Festival 2025 (with the final programs of the startup contest "Green Seafood - Sustainable Development Trend" 2025; Startup Connection forum; display and promotion of startup products, innovation).

Ca Mau Crab Festival also organizes the International Workshop "Innovation and sustainable development of the Ca Mau-Vietnam sea crab industry"; orders the creation of the Ca Mau Crab Symbol (logo); fun symbols of the Ca Mau Crab and the slogan of the Ca Mau Crab Festival; the 1st expanded Ca Mau Southern Amateur Music Festival in 2025; organizes folk games suitable to the theme such as catching crabs quickly, tying crabs quickly, crab racing...

Along with that, Ca Mau province also organized the event "Hello Ca Mau" in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province coordinated with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to organize the event "Hello Ca Mau" with 3 main activities: Conference on connecting investment cooperation for Ho Chi Minh City enterprises in Ca Mau province at Rex Saigon Hotel; Food Festival - Ca Mau Crab Festival 2025 at the Youth Cultural House; Communication and promotion of the event.

The activity “Hello Ca Mau” will be held at Rex Hotel Saigon and Youth Cultural House from November 18-22.

According to Mr. Le Van Su, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival and the "Hello Vietnam" event are opportunities to promote the potential and strengths of Ca Mau province in terms of economy, culture, tourism, environment, investment potential and sustainable development prospects.

Through this event, Ca Mau province calls on domestic and foreign organizations and individuals to invest in Ca Mau; connect and cooperate with domestic and foreign enterprises and investors to build a complete production value chain of the province's sea crab industry, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the Ca Mau crab brand in the domestic and international markets.
