Many practical activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025) - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to organize a series of practical activities to care for war invalids, martyrs' relatives and people with meritorious services to the revolution, in order to widely spread the tradition of "Repaying gratitude" and "Remembering the source of water when drinking" of the nation. At the same time, affirming the responsibility of Party committees, authorities, organizations and individuals to care for the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives.

Youth Union members in the province launched a general cleaning of the martyrs' cemetery.

According to the plan, in July, the whole province will promote activities about the history, meaning and humanistic values of War Invalids and Martyrs Day;educate and promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude" of the nation.

Many practical activities were carried out such as: The provincial delegation offered incense at Truong Son martyrs' cemetery and Road 9 cemetery, Quang Tri province; The delegation of martyrs' relatives visited the graves at Dak Lak province's martyrs' cemetery; offered incense at the Martyrs' Monument, offered flowers at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument and the martyrs' cemetery (China); visited the graves, offered incense at Thuy Khau cemetery (China); organized to send outstanding delegates of the province to attend the National Commendation Conference.

Established 12 working delegations of the province to directly visit and present 236 gifts, each worth from 700 - 1,200,000 VND to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals; visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers being treated at Duy Tien and Nho Quan War Invalids Nursing Centers in Ninh Binh province. Visiting and presenting gifts from July 17 to July 27, 2025.

The work of managing, embellishing and taking care of works honoring martyrs; policies and regimes for people with meritorious services; searching for, gathering and identifying martyrs' remains... has been implemented synchronously and effectively.
