Many meaningful activities to support poor patients at Muong Khuong Regional General Hospital

In recent times, Muong Khuong Regional General Hospital has not only strived to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment but also implemented many charitable activities to support and give strength to thousands of poor patients.

In the first 7 months of 2025, Muong Khuong Regional General Hospital received and treated 6,538 poor patients.

Implementing social security policies, the hospital has ensured full support for patients. The total amount of food support for poor patients according to Resolution 15/2021/NQ-HDND dated July 16, 2021 of the Lao Cai Provincial People's Council is up to more than 3 billion VND.

Many gifts for poor patients.

Along with supporting meals, Muong Khuong Regional General Hospital has organized many meaningful programs, including the "Journey of Love" program to give many valuable gifts to poor patients.

Warm meals sent to the sick.

In addition, the Nursing and Social Work Department of Muong Khuong Regional General Hospital has proactively connected with volunteer organizations, units and individuals to carry out many meaningful activities.

Every month, the Tam Thuong Charity Fund gives free meals to all patients being treated at the hospital; the Kind Heart Association supports 110 meals. Every week, the Muong Khuong Border Guard Station regularly organizes free porridge cooking for patients.

Practical volunteer activities have been contributing to sharing difficulties with patients in the highlands of Muong Khuong area, while spreading the spirit of charity in the community.
