The international scientific conference “Media Education in the Context of AI and Digital Transformation 2025” (ME.AI25) will be chaired byFPT University Hanoi, in collaboration with the Department of Multimedia Communication Management, the Literature and Arts Times, and Tri Thuc So Media Group Joint Stock Company, and will take place on December 25, 2025.
ME.AI25 is expected to be a high-quality academic forum, bringing together nearly 200 researchers, experts, lecturers, students, and businesses from both within and outside the country to exchange and share experiences, solutions, and visions on innovation in media education in the context of AI and digital transformation.
Furthermore, the workshop aims to enhance capacity and promote research in the field of media education and training in Vietnam, especially during a period when the entire industry is undergoing a strong transformation towards the application of artificial intelligence and digital transformation. At the same time, the event also outlines practical directions and solutions to address the challenges and obstacles in implementing AI in media education and training.
The workshop was chaired by many prestigious scholars and experts, including: Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan – Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Catherine Earl – Associate Professor of Communication, Faculty of Communication & Design, RMIT University Vietnam; Dr. Tran Ngoc Tuan – Vice Rector of FPT University; Dr. Pham Binh Duong – Head of the Multimedia Communication Management Department, FPT University.
The organizers announced that, to date, the conference has received over 400 abstracts from experts, scientists, managers, lecturers, and students from both Vietnam and abroad. Of these, nearly 50 high-quality full papers have been accepted.

The participation of leading scholars from both within and outside the country promises to bring insightful perspectives, new trends, and practical solutions for media training in the era of artificial intelligence.
In addition to academic discussion sessions, the ME.AI25 Conference also includes many notable activities, such as: An innovative AI exhibition area: Showcasing and introducing products, models, and solutions applying AI in communication and education from businesses and students; and a space for academic and business networking: Creating opportunities for meetings, collaborations, and sharing between academics, media organizations, training institutions, and technology companies.
