Many people were hospitalized with suspected food poisoning after lunch.

(Dan Tri) - Medical facilities in Hue city have received emergency treatment for 14 patients suspected of food poisoning after having lunch at a local company.

According to the Hue City Department of Health , the unit's working group coordinated with Huong Tra Medical Center and local authorities to take samples for analysis and investigate the cause of the incident in which many people had to be hospitalized after the meal.

Previously, on the afternoon of November 11, Huong Tra Medical Center admitted 13 patients with suspected food poisoning symptoms. Another case was taken to Hue Central Hospital, branch 2.

All cases were identified as workers of a company located in an industrial park in Huong Tra ward, Hue city.

After lunch at the company cafeteria, the above workers showed symptoms of nausea, allergies, and fatigue, and were then taken to a medical facility for emergency treatment and monitoring.

The leaders of the Hue City Department of Health said that 11 patients at Huong Tra Medical Center have stabilized, 2 cases continue to be monitored. Patients treated at Hue Central Hospital, branch 2, have shown signs of improvement and are being cared for at the Department of Endocrinology - Neurology - Respiratory.
