The staff of the Propaganda Department always adhere to the motto "work until the job is done, not until the clock runs out."

Lieutenant Colonel Mai Luc, Party Branch Secretary and Head of the Propaganda Department, stated: Identifying the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo as a central and continuous task, from the beginning of the year, the Party Branch directed 100% of cadres and Party members to register their commitment to following President Ho Chi Minh's example, linking it to their professional responsibilities and focusing on weak points. In particular, the Department emphasized the exemplary conduct of the leaders, fostering internal unity, and resolutely building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary and outstanding" unit.

During each flood season, along with the rescue and relief forces, the officers and soldiers of the Propaganda Department also enter the silent battle on the "information front". Regardless of day or night, rain or storms, these propaganda soldiers always stay close to the grassroots, promptly updating and editing hundreds of news articles and reports to vividly reflect the image of the army in the hearts of the people.

I remember that during the historic floods at the end of 2025, the entire city was submerged in water, with widespread power outages. In the Propaganda Department's office, the rechargeable lamp remained lit, and the flow of information never ceased. The propaganda team members stayed up all night processing materials. Touching footage and images of soldiers helping people relocate their belongings, delivering food, and rescuing people in deeply flooded areas were promptly transmitted, contributing to boosting morale and illuminating the noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers."

Major Le Quang Dao, Team Leader of the Film Projection Team at the Cultural Center, shared: "During the storm and flood season, our team is almost on duty 24/7. There are days when we return from fieldwork with our clothes soaking wet, and immediately sit down at the editing machine to finish the film on time for broadcast. Seeing images of our comrades being broadcast warms the hearts of the people, and all fatigue becomes a minor issue."

In response to the increasingly demanding requirements of ideological work, the Propaganda Department has proactively innovated, strengthening the application of information technology and digital transformation. The department's staff actively engage in self-study, mastering modern software, and strongly shifting their propaganda methods towards visual forms such as graphic design, short video production, and multimedia documentaries. This innovation makes political education and legal dissemination more engaging, accessible, and effective.

The motto "work until the job is done, not until the clock runs out" has become a self-disciplined practice. During peak holiday seasons, propaganda officers quietly remain at their offices to ensure the smooth running of cultural activities, decorations, and timely reporting of the troops' readiness for combat. There, senior officers wholeheartedly guide junior officers, creating a united and cohesive team.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Linh, Head of Political Affairs Department of the City Military Command, assessed: The Propaganda Department is a collective with strong political resolve and high discipline. Despite facing many unexpected tasks and tight deadlines, the officers and staff of the Department always maintain the spirit of "leading the way and finishing last," successfully completing all tasks.
