At the conference to review 10 years of implementing the National Action Program to improve the capacity of medical examination and treatment quality management until 2025 and to provide comments on the draft Advanced Quality Standards for Hospitals organized by the Ministry of Health on November 25, 2025, Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan emphasized that in the period 2015-2025, the Vietnamese medical examination and treatment system has entered a period of shifting the quality management model to modern standards, approaching international trends.
According to the survey and assessment results of the implementation of the National Action Program to improve the capacity of medical examination and treatment quality management in the period 2015-2025, during the 10 years of implementation, the program has created a widespread ripple effect to hospitals nationwide with the rate of implementation of quality improvement programs, patient safety, hospital quality assessment according to the Criteria Set, patient satisfaction survey, medical staff... reaching a very high level of 90% or more./.
