In Tu Nghia commune, Quang Ngai province, the ancient yellow apricot blossom village, over 70 years old, belonging to Mr. Tran Tan (66 years old), stands gracefully and serenely amidst the spring garden.

Belonging to the five-petaled apricot blossom variety originating from Hue , this apricot tree was planted and developed completely naturally by Mr. Tan's father, without any pruning or shaping, yet its form remains balanced and harmonious.

The tree is about 5m tall, with a canopy nearly 6m wide, a trunk circumference of over 100cm, a straight trunk, and gently spreading branches, creating a spacious yet elegant beauty.
Through wars and the vicissitudes of time, the ancient apricot blossom tree has persistently sprouted new roots, shed its leaves, and bloomed at the right time. Every winter, when the old leaves fall, the apricot blossoms burst forth in a vibrant, pure yellow, as if preserving its serene and tranquil essence throughout countless seasons of wind and frost.

Mr. Tan shared that the apricot blossom tree has been closely associated with his family and is proudly planted in front of his house as a family heirloom. Although many people have offered to buy it at a high price, he has resolutely refused to sell it.

Meanwhile, the over 60-year-old apricot blossom tree belonging to Mr. Truong Tan Hung (in Truong Quang Trong ward, Quang Ngai province) is 4.5 meters tall and is considered a rare, unique specimen by apricot blossom enthusiasts.
Belonging to the traditional green-tipped apricot blossom variety, this apricot tree bursts into vibrant yellow blossoms, exuding an ancient aura and a unique character.

The unique feature of this apricot blossom tree lies in its distinctive structure; from the base to the branches, it's only about 20cm tall, but the five main branches extend out in a balanced and harmonious way, symbolizing the five blessings.
The trunk measures 90cm in circumference, the base circumference reaches 138cm, and the raised base is evenly distributed in all four directions, creating a stable foundation.

According to Hung, the apricot blossom tree was given to him by its previous owner through a fortunate coincidence.
This is a variety of green-tipped apricot blossom – a traditional apricot blossom variety highly valued by bonsai enthusiasts. With its perfection and uniqueness, the tree is currently valued at billions of Vietnamese dong.
