Some students donated 5 books, 10 books, some carried two large bags of notebooks. Holding a stack of notebooks in his arms, Dang Khoi, class 8/8, smiled and said that all these white notebooks were donated by the whole class, hoping to help his peers in the flood-affected areas.

Right after the physical education class ended, Huynh Thien Phuc also rushed to the white notebook collection point. Phuc was tasked with recording the number of notebooks contributed by his classmates, and at the same time, arranging the notebooks into boxes, preparing to transport them to the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.

"I feel very happy and pleased to contribute a little to help the children in the flooded area. I think they will be very happy to receive a new notebook like this" - Phuc shared.

Mr. Nguyen Trung An, Principal of Phan Cong Hon Secondary School, said that as soon as the call for support was made, not only students and teachers of the school but also many parents brought blank notebooks to school.

Within 3 days, the school received more than 3,500 blank notebooks, nearly 4.5 million VND and many loving wishes.

"The program "Collecting notebooks for students in disaster-affected areas" launched by the Lao Dong Newspaper is very timely and meaningful. Every contribution right now is very necessary, especially if it can be given directly to students, it will help them feel more secure going to school" - Mr. An added.
