Bright spots in Apatite mining and processing

Early March, Khai Truong 19 officially came into operation - This is good news for Apatite Vietnam Company Limited. This year, the unit only set a target of exploiting 220,000 tons of ore; at the same time, focusing on opening roads, opening seams and completing infrastructure to serve the exploitation. The first batches of ore were exploited in the joy of the staff and engineers here.

We are working at maximum safe capacity because this is a new mine that still faces many difficulties. With high determination, we have obtained the raw materials as planned."

To ensure input ore, from the beginning of the year until now, all 03 Ore Selection factories of Apatite Company have maintained maximum capacity. This year, Bac Nhac Son Selection factory aims to produce 350,000 tons. Along with solving the problem of ore source, the factory has improved the technological line, increasing production and business efficiency.

Mr. Le Ngoc Ha, Deputy Director of Bac Nhac Son Selection Factory, Apatit Vietnam Company Limited shared: “Last year, we renovated the production line to put in a grinding machine, which released Apatite and gave positive results. We have renovated and converted some functions, basically technological indicators, and increased capacity. We basically mastered the technological line, producing over 1,000 tons per day.”

Meanwhile, the stable output market has helped Apatite Company Limited's fertilizer products sell quite well. Production volume is sold out immediately, there is no longer a stockpile situation like in previous years. 24,000 tons of fertilizer were supplied to the market in the first half of this year, helping the unit to almost reach the target for the whole year of 2024.

Mr. Tran Tien Binh, Deputy Director of the Chemical Fertilizer Branch, Apatit Vietnam Company Limited said: “The amount of fertilizer consumed by farmers is very large, the market is very stable in early 2024 as well as the whole year. The branch ensures profits for the branch, the assigned targets are almost completed in the first 6 months of the year”.

The difficulties related to compensation and site clearance at Apatite mining projects and waste disposal sites will be the key tasks that Apatite One Member Co., Ltd. will continue to resolve, ensuring the source of raw materials for production. The unit strives to achieve the target of nearly 3,200 billion VND in production value, 326 billion VND in profit, and contribute 452 billion VND to the State budget this year.
