Formerly an officer of the General Department of Security - Ministry of Public Security , Colonel Dao Tien is known as a multi-talented artist-soldier. Not only is he the author of dozens of books, including more than 10 collections of poems and essays, Dao Tien has also left his mark with hundreds of oil paintings and Do paper, many of which have been auctioned to raise funds for charity to support those in difficult circumstances.

But it does not stop there, his delicate and sensitive soul also resonates in music - where Dao Tien conveys his deep emotions about life and people through melodies filled with love. Since his first composition "Moc Chau Night", he has had a musical "fortune" of more than 100 songs. Each song is like a lyrical narrative, carrying the love of people, the love of the homeland and the desire to live and contribute of the multi-talented artist.

As a musician, he has had 5 music nights held in Son La, Thai Nguyen, and Hanoi . In particular, the music night "Thirst for Life" held in 2022 at the Hanoi Opera House, a collection of works praising the homeland, the country, and the people's police force composed by Colonel Dao Tien, raised nearly 10 billion VND for the To Hieu Scholarship Fund.

This year, the music night “Aspiration to live before the new era” was held on the evening of November 19 at Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi, as a tribute that musician Dao Tien wanted to send to his teachers, not only the teachers in school but also those who guided, inspired, and gave him life lessons and lessons in being a human being.

The concert is a symphony of love, pride and aspiration, woven from the rich experiences of security soldier Dao Tien. This is also an opportunity for the public to fully enjoy his musical world, rich in material but also very simple in lyrics.

“Aspiration to live before the new era” will bring the audience to a colorful musical space connected in three chapters: Chapter I - “Pride of Vietnam” brings majestic melodies, arousing love for the country and national pride.

Chapter II - "Burning Forever in Heaven" opens up a space of passionate, romantic emotions, arousing the blaze of passion, enthusiasm and youthful aspirations.

Chapter III - "Moving with the country" concludes the emotional journey with melodies of the new era, reflecting the vibrant pace of life and the spirit of integration of a developing Vietnam.

Musician Dao Tien said that the music night “Aspiration to live before the new era” gathered 16 musical works, including songs written about the police force, about Son La land... which have been loved by a large audience over the years, and there are also many new songs that he composed recently.

In particular, the highlight of the final program is the work “Dance of Solidarity” - a heartfelt composition by author Tong Thi Phong, former member of the Politburo, former Permanent Vice President of the National Assembly, an outstanding child of the Northwest mountains and forests. The work carries a profound message about the strength of the great national unity bloc - the source of all victories. The dance will be performed to the typical music of the Northwest region, promising a complete, meaningful and emotional ending.

More than just a music night, "Aspiration to live before a new era" also conveys a message of faith and hope in a bright future for the country. The creative team believes that the melodies sung from the heart will find resonance in the audience's souls.
