Traditional artistic colors of early spring

On the evening of February 18th (the second day of the Lunar New Year, Year of the Horse), at April 2nd Square (Nha Trang Ward), the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the art performance program "Fragrance and Colors of Spring".

For 90 minutes, more than 50 artists, actors, singers, musicians, and collaborators from the Provincial Traditional Arts Theater presented a performance showcasing the traditional art of Khanh Hoa province to a large audience. During the program, locals and tourists enjoyed a folk opera performance titled "The Fragrance of Spring." Traditional folk opera melodies, set to new lyrics praising the beauty of Khanh Hoa, brought moments of excitement and joy to the audience.

In the excerpt from the traditional Vietnamese opera "The Old Man Carrying His Wife to the Festival," the audience is immersed in the story's progression, which is both humorous and deeply emotional, depicting an old husband and a young wife. Meanwhile, the excerpt from the folk opera "The Soul of Truong Ba, the Butcher's Skin" conveys profound folk philosophies that remain relevant today.

The lion dance performance was accompanied by the lively sound of drums.

The program attracted the attention of many viewers.

In addition, the artists also presented the audience with lion dance performances; and unique instrumental ensemble and solo performances of traditional Vietnamese music. Furthermore, the program included musical performances with themes of spring and youthful love.
