On July 10, many military academies and schools officially announced early admission scores, including direct admission, high school transcripts, and competency assessment test scores from Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Specifically, the Military Technical Academy announced the list of candidates admitted directly and the admission score based on the results of the competency assessment exam.

With the method of considering the test scores to assess capacity, 107 candidates were admitted early to the Military Technical Academy.

The Northern region has 70 candidates admitted, of which 67 male candidates were admitted, with a standard score of 20.35 points; the Northern region has 3 female candidates admitted, with a standard score of 22.55 points.

The Southern region has 37 candidates admitted, including 36 male candidates admitted with a benchmark score of 20.875; 1 female candidate with a benchmark score of 24.466.

The school does not consider admission based on academic records.

Implementing the project of enrolling full-time military colleges and universities in the period of 2023 - 2030 and the following years, in 2024, the Military Admissions Board of the Ministry of National Defense will conduct admission according to four admission methods, organizing three admission rounds.

In which, the first round is early admission according to 3 methods: Direct admission, priority admission and admission of excellent high school students, not exceeding 15% of the quota (method 1); admission based on the results of the capacity assessment exam of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University, not exceeding 20% of the quota (method 2); method 3 - admission based on high school transcripts, not exceeding 10% of the quota (except Military Technical Academy and Military Medical Academy have not used this admission method).

After the early admission round, admission will be based on the results of the 2024 high school exam. The quota is determined as the remaining quota after considering all the quotas of methods 1, 2, and 3.

This year, the total university enrollment target of 17 military academies and schools is more than 5,300.
