Ha Tinh entered the new year 2024 in a joyful and excited atmosphere. The sacred moment of "farewell to the old and welcome the new" is also the moment when the Party Committee, government and people of the province launch the sprint to achieve the goals of the 2020-2025 term with the determination to conquer new heights.

Over the past year, the efforts and determination of the Party Committee, government and people of the province have brought many victories in all fields. The work of building the Party and the political system has received attention and achieved many positive results.

VinES Battery Factory is one of the new growth factors of Ha Tinh industry.

Socio-economic development achieved and exceeded 26/29 targets. Economic growth reached 8.05%, ranking 15th nationwide. Industry had new growth factors; agriculture had a good harvest; tourism and services recovered quickly; total social investment increased; exports reached the highest level ever; public investment disbursement by December 28, 2023 reached 110% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister; key projects and works are being implemented on schedule.

Deo But Tunnel - the only mountain tunnel on the North-South expressway through Ha Tinh is being implemented on schedule.

By organizing a conference to announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and organizing investment promotion, Ha Tinh has clearly defined its development goals and strategies in the coming time, affirming its determination to accompany and stand side by side with investors, converging resources and resilience on the journey to strive to become a well-off province in the country.

The cultural and social fields have many highlights with the event of the Great Physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac being recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization; many cultural and tourism activities were impressively organized and had a widespread impact; high-performance sports achieved good results; the quality of mass education changed positively, key education achieved high results; social security policies were implemented promptly; national defense and security, social order and safety were ensured... The administrative reform index and improvement of the investment and business environment continued to be maintained in the good group of the whole country.

In 2024, in addition to the basic advantages, in the final stage of implementing the goals of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, it is forecasted that there will be many difficulties. Therefore, Party committees, authorities at all levels and all people must demonstrate the highest political determination, with intelligence and courage, continue to strive to overcome all difficulties, seize opportunities and advantages; with creative and breakthrough ways, determined to complete and over-complete all socio-economic targets, build a strong Party and political system.
