Ninh Binh: Ensuring a joyful, healthy, and safe Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) 2026.

VHO - The Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has just signed Directive No. 01/CT-UBND dated January 17, requesting all levels, sectors, units, and localities in the province to proactively implement tasks to be ready for a joyful, healthy, safe, and economical Lunar New Year (Tet) in 2026.

Ninh Binh is stepping up efforts to preserve and promote its rich and distinctive traditional cultural values ​​during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

In addition to the tasks of departments, agencies, and local governments at all levels during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Horse 2026, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee requests the Department of Culture and Sports to take the lead and coordinate with other agencies and units to strengthen the dissemination of information about activities celebrating the New Year, the country's renewal, and the glorious Party.

At the same time, we will promote the preservation and development of fine, distinctive traditional cultural values; organize unique art programs that are in line with cultural traditions and customs to serve the people in celebrating Tet in a joyful, safe, economical, and effective manner.

In addition, it is necessary to strengthen guidance, inspection, and supervision of the organization of festivals, physical education, and sports activities during the Lunar New Year to ensure they are in accordance with local customs, traditions, and actual circumstances; promptly prevent negative manifestations, exploitation of festivals for illicit gain, superstition, and promptly handle violations strictly.

Ninh Binh is ready to welcome tourists during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

Regarding the tourism sector, the Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee requested the Department to regularly organize inspections and control the quality of tourism services; strictly handle violations; promote and encourage businesses to improve service quality, ensure the safety of tourists' health, lives, and property, strictly comply with regulations on price listing, and absolutely not raise or overcharge tourists...

Furthermore, it is necessary to direct and guide localities and businesses to develop plans and proactively prepare the necessary conditions to serve tourists, including plans to ensure security and order, fire safety, food safety and hygiene, environmental hygiene, and to ensure sufficient personnel to serve and support tourists during the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Horse 2026.
