Ninh Binh inaugurates the 2026 beach tourism season.

On the evening of April 28th, at the Thinh Long Beach Tourist Area, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the 2026 beach tourism season with the theme "Ninh Binh - From Sacred Mountains to the Vast Sea," marking the beginning of a series of activities in response to the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Tran Song Tung, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stated that Ninh Binh is a land rich in unique values, from historical and cultural heritage sites associated with feudal dynasties to diverse natural landscapes, such as Cuc Phuong National Park, Xuan Thuy National Park, and Van Long Ramsar Site.

Mr. Tran Song Tung, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

In particular, with over 90km of coastline, Ninh Binh boasts many beautiful beaches such as Thinh Long and Giao Ninh, along with a rich marine ecosystem, distinctive traditional craft villages such as Bach Long salt production, Van Ly ornamental plant cultivation, Pham Phao brass instrument making, and a diverse seafood cuisine .

According to provincial leaders, connecting heritage and ecotourism with beach tourism and traditional craft villages is creating a rich chain of tourism products, meeting the year-round experiential needs of tourists. The theme "From Sacred Mountains to the Vast Sea" reflects the strategic direction of expanding tourism development in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

The opening ceremony is not only an activity to kick off the beach tourism season but also an opportunity to promote the image of the destination, attract investment and tourists.

At the event, many promotional activities were organized, such as a Famtrip program, a space showcasing OCOP tourism products, seafood cuisine, bonsai exhibitions, stilt walking performances, and a kite-flying festival.

In addition, coastal communes in the province also organize many cultural and artistic activities, contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere that attracts tourists. On the afternoon of April 28th, tens of thousands of tourists flocked to Thinh Long beach resort to visit and experience the area.

A large number of tourists from within and outside the province attended the opening ceremony.

The Ninh Binh provincial leadership requested coastal localities, tourism management units, and service businesses to fully prepare to serve tourists; focusing on upgrading facilities, ensuring fire safety, environmental hygiene, security and order, food safety, and beach safety; strictly enforcing price listing and preventing touting and price gouging.

At the same time, it calls on every citizen to become a "tourism ambassador," contributing to building a friendly and civilized image of Ninh Binh, bringing tourists memorable experiences during the 2026 summer tourism season.
