Efforts to innovate and improve the quality of preschool care and education
Overcoming difficulties in terms of lack of facilities and difficult living conditions, the staff and teachers of Huong Duong Kindergarten, Pac Nga commune, always promote the spirit of solidarity, strive to innovate and be creative in teaching and learning, gradually improving the quality of child care and education. In 2025, the school was honored to be recognized as a typical example in the patriotic emulation movement of the commune in the period of 2020-2025.

Visiting Huong Duong Kindergarten, a small school located near the commune center, it is easy to feel the friendly and close atmosphere. The campus is green, clean, beautiful, the classrooms are arranged scientifically , with many rich experience corners. On the walls are paintings made by teachers and students together, helping children develop their creativity, interaction ability, creating an attractive learning environment for children.
Ms. Do Thi Lan, Principal of the school, said: The school currently has 15 classes with 355 children; 26 teachers directly teaching, 100% of whom meet training standards. With the invested facilities, the school manages and uses them effectively, adds equipment and supplies, builds a sports area and a green library. The school is always proactive in developing a plan to develop an educational program that is suitable for reality. Teachers teach according to each topic; integrate new models and methods to help children explore, experience, form skills and develop comprehensively in morality, intelligence, physical fitness and aesthetics.
Many highly effective models and initiatives have been implemented, such as: "Building a child-centered educational environment", "Nutrition education combined with physical activity", "Application of STEM/STEAM educational methods", "Social-emotional education (SEL)", "Enhancing Vietnamese for ethnic minority children", "Introducing English to preschool children"...

Implementing the project "Enhancing Vietnamese for ethnic minority preschool children", all classes have built a "Vietnamese Corner" with rich learning materials; objects and pictures are labeled with letters to help children observe and memorize daily vocabulary. Outdoor spaces are also integrated with Vietnamese through name boards of trees, flowers, vegetables, etc. to help children play and approach the language. The school also organizes extracurricular activities, the contest "Ethnic minority preschool children with Vietnamese"; at the same time, coordinates with parents to enhance Vietnamese communication at home, creating a unified language environment.
Every year, the emulation movements “Teach well - learn well”, “Each teacher is a model of morality, self-study and creativity”, “Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning” are effectively implemented. The school firmly maintains the criteria for achieving level I standards and continues to improve the quality of educational accreditation.
Identifying that applying information technology and digital transformation is an inevitable requirement, the school has put into use Viettec software in planning, managing boarding and books; building Zalo and Facebook groups to connect two-way information with parents. 100% of staff and teachers have accessed and proficiently used technology equipment, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning, creating excitement for children.
Focusing on training and professional development for staff and teachers, the school regularly organizes demonstration lessons, class observations, seminars, and training for core teachers; encourages teachers to participate in excellent teacher competitions and write experience initiatives. Notably, in the 2024-2025 school year, the Professional Team of the large kindergarten block implemented the initiative "Guiding 4-5 year old children to make homemade tools and toys". This solution has helped children love to be creative, know how to utilize familiar materials to make products, thereby forming the habit of protecting the environment and saving resources.

Teacher Lo Thi Thuy, the teacher who implemented the initiative, shared: The class has 22 children, many of whom have limited ability to cooperate and concentrate. Through practical activities and experiences on the topics "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival", "Children and relatives", "Teaching profession", "Animal world ", "Traffic", "Natural phenomena"... have helped children become interested and actively participate in the activities.
The survey results show that 100% of children are interested, active, and proactive when participating in activities of making tools and toys, an increase of 54.5%; 91% of children have skills in observing and answering questions, an increase of 68.2%; 91% of children have knowledge, skills, and aesthetics when making toys, an increase of 63.6%; 86.4% of children practice perseverance and dexterity; 95.5% of children are aware of preserving and appreciating the tools they make, an increase of 59-72% compared to before applying initiatives and solutions.

Teacher Do Thi Lan, Principal of the school added: The school is completing the conditions to serve the assessment and recognition of National standards level I. At the same time, it is proposed that the Commune People's Committee invest in renovating the central school, purchasing equipment for Nong Coc, Lum Ha, Lum Thuong, Pac Nga schools... Strive to complete the assessment and recognition by March 2026 according to the schedule.
With many efforts in innovation and creativity, Huong Duong Kindergarten has been affirming its role as a bright spot in education and the patriotic emulation movement of Pac Nga commune. The results achieved are the basis and important motivation for the school to continue to strive, build an increasingly modern and friendly educational environment, meeting the requirements of the new period.
