A place to nurture young talents.

Recently, two videos of elementary school students in Can Tho City giving presentations about the Great Victory of Spring 1975 and the Vietnamese ao dai (traditional dress) have attracted millions of views on TikTok. The students are currently trainees in the talent class at Tay Do Model Company.

The young trainees of Tay Do Model confidently host the show.

In one clip, Duong Thuy Hien, a student from Vo Truong Toan Primary School (Cai Khe Ward), stands next to a tank at the Military Region 9 Museum, confidently presenting on the significance of the Great Victory of Spring 1975 with a clear voice and expressive eyes. In another clip, Thuy Hien, along with Nguyen Hoang Tue Lam, a student from Thoi Lai Primary School (Thoi Lai Commune), presents on the Vietnamese ao dai (traditional dress), combining knowledge with a natural and engaging presentation style.

This is the "sweet fruit" of systematic training at Tay Do Model's skills class. Director Nguyen Phu, Director of Tay Do Model, said: The talent class, which he founded and directly taught for many years, is a breeding ground for many young talents in Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta provinces.

The gifted class is for children aged 6-14. In the first lesson, children are encouraged to introduce themselves, share their feelings, and express their thoughts. Seemingly simple exercises, such as appreciating a painting or a song, or giving an opinion on a social issue, are ways for them to learn how to observe, listen, and respond.

The core of the program is to help children overcome shyness and become confident. Simultaneously, they learn about fashion show etiquette: proper posture, rhythm, and expressive demeanor. The curriculum follows the guidelines of the Vietnam Model Association, ensuring professionalism while remaining age-appropriate.

Students of Tay Do Model regularly participate in city-level art programs and festivals, as well as events organized by agencies, units, and localities. Many students have also won awards in children's modeling and talent competitions, and have appeared in films.

In a context where soft skills are becoming increasingly important, classes like Tay Do Model are not only places to discover talent, but also environments to nurture self-confidence – which is the foundation for children's long-term development.
