Responding to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province have promoted many activities to bring agricultural products of Ninh Binh farmers' association members closer to consumers inside and outside the province.
At Trang An Eco- tourism Area, for more than ten days now, the display, introduction and promotion point of Ninh Binh’s OCOP certified products has been in operation. At the booth, many typical products of Ninh Binh such as Thanh Nguyen braised meat with shrimp paste, Tong Truong perch floss, Cung Dinh burnt rice, Cuc Phuong yellow flower tea… have attracted the attention of tourists when visiting here.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Owner of Thanh Nguyen Shrimp Paste Stewed Meat Establishment, said: With the desire to promote and introduce Ninh Binh's typical products to domestic and foreign tourists, along with the display point in Hoa Lu Ancient Town that was previously in operation, the Establishment has decided to open another product introduction point in Trang An Eco-tourism Area to reach more customers. Hopefully, through the display and introduction of Ninh Binh agricultural products, visitors will understand more about the land and people here. This is also an opportunity for the Establishment to expand the product consumption market...
The organic melon production model with an area of over 1,000m2 of Mr. Dinh Van Hop, a farmer member of Doai Khe village, Yen Son commune (Tam Diep city) is one of the models that always receives support from the Farmers' Association at all levels. Investing in building the model since 2021, with the attention of the locality and Farmers' Association at all levels, Mr. Hop has built a successful model with an output of more than 3 tons/crop, delicious melon quality, rich sweetness, loved by customers, Mr. Hop has an income of more than 400 million VND.
Mr. Dinh Van Hop shared: The production model is supported by the Farmers' Association of Tam Diep province and city to promote and introduce products at domestic fairs, seminars and conferences, through the Association's channels, and is funded by the Farmers' Support Fund, so he has the conditions to invest in completing a safe production system, taking care of melons using organic methods, and achieving a high level of product safety. Comrade Dinh Hong Thai, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, said: In order to effectively implement the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", in recent times, Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province have promoted the dissemination of Directive No. 03-CT/TW of the Central Party Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the new situation; documents of the Central Vietnam Farmers' Association , the Provincial Steering Committee. Through dissemination, it has contributed to raising the awareness and responsibility of cadres and farmer members in correctly assessing the quality of domestically produced goods to make appropriate choices based on analyzing the advantages of local products. In addition, the Associations at all levels also focus on promoting activities to support farmer members in producing safe and organic agricultural products, promoting and introducing Ninh Binh agricultural products to the market, to consumers in the province and throughout the country.
The Provincial Farmers' Association has taken advantage of events and fairs to support members in promoting and introducing products. In 2023, at fairs in Hanoi, Lao Cai, Son La, Nghe An..., the Association has prioritized introducing new products recognized as OCOP products in 2022 and 2023 such as: Bao Son Health Protection Tea, Riti Chrysanthemum Tea, herbal products of Sinh Duoc Cooperative, Cuc Phuong Honey, kudzu powder, pennywort powder...
Typically, at the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association held in Hanoi in December 2023, the Ninh Binh Farmers' Association registered a booth to introduce products at the Congress. Typical products: crispy rice, fish sauce with water beetles, smoked snails, soy sauce... are products that are loved by many delegates. Many establishments have approached customers during the Congress, signing contracts to consume products. At the recent congresses of Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province, the products displayed at the congress as well as the gifts given to delegates all used typical products of the localities.
The greatest success of the Provincial Farmers’ Association in implementing the campaign is to guide farmer members to focus on safe production, building organic products, meeting the increasing needs of consumers. The Association has supported many production facilities in upgrading designs, origin traceability stamps, supporting machinery, logo design, etc. to help facilities build OCOP products.
At the same time, in 2023, the Provincial Farmers' Association mobilized the establishment of 6 safe agricultural product stores, currently the whole province has 35 stores maintaining effective operations. The Association also encouraged store owners to introduce new typical products of provinces and cities across the country. For example, at the Song Van Safe Agricultural Product Store, there are currently more than 50 products of provinces and cities for sale. In addition, the Provincial Farmers' Association also focuses on introducing and promoting agricultural products of the Farmers' Associations of provinces and cities through signing activities to support the consumption of products of farmers in provinces and cities: Hanoi, Ha Giang, Hoa Binh, Son La, Lam Dong... Thereby contributing to spreading the products and brands of domestic production facilities to Ninh Binh consumers.
