People's Artist Quoc Anh: "AI cannot sing emotionally like humans"

(Dan Tri) - While sitting as a judge on the show "Comedy Love Songs", People's Artist Quoc Anh said that only humans can sing with so much emotion and vibrato according to their mood that AI (artificial intelligence) cannot follow.

Recently, the final night of the Comedy Love Song Contest brought many surprises when the comedians stepped onto the stage to sing and show off their musical abilities in their own way.

After the online selection round, 8 contestants were selected for the final round and 4 people entered the final round, including: Meritorious Artist Tien Quang (Quang Teo), Chien Thang, Dung Nhi and Thanh Tu.

In the final round, Meritorious Artist Tien Quang (Quang Teo) was the one who left the strongest impression. With the song Vet thu tren luong ngua hoang (The scar on the back of a wild horse) , he performed with a voice full of confidences and emotional acting. At the end, he burst into tears, tears streaming down as his face bowed on the stage. This performance helped him win the Golden Voice Award.

The highlight of the final night was the appearance of People's Artist Quoc Anh. He was both a judge and performed a duet with Thanh Tu.

People's Artist Quoc Anh shared that, when sitting on the judging panel, he saw that the program revived many valuable music genres such as red music, pre-war music, bolero, folk music - music genres that, according to him, are the "soul" of Vietnamese music.

"Before, audiences thought we only knew how to perform comedy. But recently, many artists have stepped out of their "comfort zone" to sing and even compete," People's Artist Quoc Anh said.

When the reporter asked: "Recently, social networks have shared many clips of AI singing, attracting millions of views. In your opinion, can AI replace humans in the future?"

The male artist affirmed: "No matter how modern technology is, AI can never replace human emotions. If emotions are lost, art will no longer have any meaning."
