After more than 5 years of absence from the screen, Meritorious Artist Cat Tuong returns with a villain role in the film Super LEADER GOT SAI by director Vo Thanh Hoa. Her character is a beautiful businesswoman with a luxurious and gentle demeanor.

Cat Tuong confided: “After many years of returning to movies, I am very serious about investing in this role. I tried my best to understand the character as well as accept the opinions of director Vo Thanh Hoa so that the character is perfect and suitable for the style and flow of the film”. This is a villain role but has a bit of lightness and humor, so Cat Tuong hopes that through the role, she will better understand the “movie taste” of today's audience.

Cat Tuong returns to movies after 5 years of absence.

Although the film is cheerful and humorous, there is a rather dangerous scene that made it difficult for Cat Tuong to perform. She said: “ At that time, I was very afraid of dying because I had to perform the scene standing on a steep, rugged cliff while wearing a long dress and high heels. Looking down the cliff from that height was really a difficulty and challenge that made me very worried. At the age of 45 and no longer very healthy, I was afraid that I would not have enough strength to perform the difficult scene well, and also worried that the scene would not be perfect if I did not perform well. Luckily, I had the support of actor Quang Son so that the two of us could perform safely and fulfill the director's intention."

Sharing about her 5-year absence from film projects, Cat Tuong humorously said she "had no shows, no one invited her to act in movies".

"Just kidding! For the past 5 years, I've been busy with my own plans such as making plays, being an MC, and doing charity trips, so every time directors called, my schedule was full, so everyone thought I was too busy and didn't dare to invite me anymore. Now I want to tell everyone, "Cat Tuong is free! Call me on the show!", she joked.

The female artist is still sexy at the age of 45.

To focus on her acting career, from 2023, Cat Tuong decided to temporarily stop her role as a "matchmaker" to focus on her main profession. The female artist will also return to the theater stage.

Cat Tuong said: “Now that I am ready in terms of both experience and finance, I can accept a role just because it is a good role without worrying too much about the salary. I can also perform the role with costumes and accessories that I prepare myself. This time around, what I value most is that I can contribute and serve the audience.”
