The catchy melody became a viral cappella with millions of views.

Amidst the vibrant atmosphere celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Party, browsing social media platforms like TikTok and Facebook reveals numerous short clips of youth union members expressing their feelings and pride for the Fatherland and the Party, set to the song "The Party's Call to Arms." Along with the youthful and lively melody, the images of youth union members in their uniforms and the proud colors of the Party flag and the national flag evoke strong emotions.

The author of this youthful, political song is the young female artist Hoang Hong Ngoc. The idea for "The Party's Call to Arms" originated during a business trip from Ha Giang to Hanoi , close to the 13th National Congress of the Party (2021).

Hong Ngoc shared that on that bus ride, the master musician suggested and challenged her to write a song about the Party in a new, youthful style. At first, she was hesitant and didn't dare because it was difficult and the topic was political.

However, a series of "why" questions—why not give it a try? Why not write in a new spirit, with new music , new rhythms, and from a young person's perspective?—motivated her to do it.

In just one week, she completed the song "The Party's Call to Arms," with lyrics that could rally millions of hearts: " Youth, with the Party, let's go! The Party's words guide us, let our hearts beat in unison…"

To find inspiration and material for her writing, Hong Ngoc researched various historical sources about the Party and the works of senior authors.

Hong Ngoc was very impressed by President Ho Chi Minh 's "Call for National Resistance".

It was the powerful emotion of the stirring call to arms for the nation, the sacred connection between the will of the Party and the heartbeat of the people, that led her to choose the title "The Party's Call to Arms" and develop the song with the vision of a stage adorned with flags and flowers, where leaders and people sing together.

In particular, the female artist created a fresh and groundbreaking rhythm in the song. Instead of the traditional, slow, and majestic rhythms, she arranged the music with a fast, strong, and modern tempo.

At the climax, she decided to use the sound of a trumpet to create an urgent effect, truly embodying the spirit of a rallying cry. "I wanted to create a sense of urgency, a feeling of youthful exhilaration when standing under the Party flag," Hong Ngoc shared.

From the moment it was released, the song "The Party's Call to Arms" resonated at many major and important events. Along with the song, Hoang Hong Ngoc had the opportunity to perform on many large stages, including the April 30th commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

Hoang Hong Ngoc said that her appearance on the stage of the Central Youth Union on the morning of January 19th was her first time performing in a flag-raising ceremony. This was even more meaningful and emotional as it was a flag-raising ceremony welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party. The fact that the song "The Party's Call to Arms" was used by the Central Youth Union in propaganda clips on social media platforms not only added to her pride but also showed the demand for enjoying and using songs with political themes in the community and in artistic programs for young artists to explore and create.

"The Party's will, the people's hearts" and the mission of a small flame.

In keeping with the nationwide atmosphere leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party, Hoang Hong Ngoc contributed to this politically charged topic with her new song titled "The Party's Will, the People's Heart." While maintaining her modern and youthful style, the female musician skillfully blended in elements of traditional Vietnamese music.

According to Hong Ngoc, the music video "Party's Will, People's Heart" was created with a simple yet profound approach. It depicts the atmosphere of preparation for the Congress in a small neighborhood. There, from veterans and soldiers to children and working people, everyone gathers, eagerly anticipating the important event for the country. In addition, it features a collaboration between Hoang Hong Ngoc and Tran Bich Ngoc – the runner-up of the 2015 Sao Mai singing competition.

Sharing about the path she is on, Hoang Hong Ngoc said she wants to become a "small flame" that inspires the younger generation.

“I realized that themes about the Party, about Uncle Ho, and about my homeland are not difficult at all. If you care enough and do enough research, you will be convinced by the historical values that are so close and proud,” Ngoc expressed, hoping that young artists will view creating works on these themes as a mission, bringing the voice and image of Vietnamese youth to contribute to the country's renewal.

Hoang Hong Ngoc (born in 1992) currently works at the Army Music and Dance Theatre. Hong Ngoc won the first prize in the 2015 Sao Mai singing competition in the light music category. She possesses not only a beautiful and powerful voice, but is also increasingly making her mark in songwriting and music production. To date, she has written approximately 80 songs, mostly related to the themes of soldiers, revolution, and political programs.

In order to promote and celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Central Committee of the Youth Union has implemented many forms and contents.

This includes organizing youth movements in anticipation of the 14th National Congress by taking photos with the Party flag, participating in social activities, collective branch or member activities such as posting photos, organizing simultaneous flag-raising ceremonies, singing the national anthem; taking photos of historical sites and revolutionary landmarks, and posting videos of activities on social media platforms with hashtags like "Youth Union" and "Youth towards the 14th National Congress".

Implement the Capcut template "The Party's Call to Arms" and the "Call to Arms" dance challenge, posting them on TikTok and Facebook to promote the congress.
