Female student from Co Nhue 2 Secondary School won the Daesang Trang Nguyen contest at the age of 13

Hoang Anh Thu - a talented candidate from Co Nhue 2 Secondary School, Hanoi, has excellently surpassed 99 opponents to become the new Trang Nguyen at the final round of the 2024 Daesang Trang Nguyen at the age of 13.

On December 7, the 10th 2024 Trang Nguyen 13 finals officially aired on VTV3 . Sponsored by DAESANG Group (Korea) and the brands O'Food, Duc Viet and Jongga, the contest is a comprehensive knowledge playground for students aged 11-13. After many intense qualifying rounds, the final round gathered the 100 best contestants from schools nationwide.

The winner of the biggest prize worth 200 million VND – the title of Trang Nguyen this year belongs to contestant Hoang Anh Thu from class 7A2, Co Nhue 2 Secondary School, Hanoi. Thanks to her confident demeanor, good thinking and diverse knowledge from many different subjects, Hoang Anh Thu excelled over 99 opponents in the final round to win the highest prize of the program.

The 13-year-old Trạng Nguyên 2024 welcomes the participation of more than 60,000 contestants, continuing to affirm its mission, becoming a useful and interesting playground for students nationwide. The scope of the contest ranges from basic knowledge in cultural fields such as Mathematics, Literature, Foreign Languages, History, Health, Natural and Social Sciences to open knowledge related to common sense of life, helping students to practice and demonstrate their talents comprehensively.

After 10 seasons, Trang Nguyen at age 13 continues to aim for the message "Every child is a talent that deserves to be respected". In particular, marking the milestone of a decade accompanying thousands of young talents, the Gala program to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Trang Nguyen at age 13 and awarding the "Trang Nguyen Ambassador - Daesang Genius Club" was held at Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School, Hanoi.

With the participation of 24 typical candidates of the seasons, this is an extremely meaningful event, demonstrating the program's journey with generations of Vietnamese students.
